Postgraduate Scholarships

We are delighted to offer a number of scholarships for applicants joining us on a full-time or part-time (but not Distance Learning) taught Master's postgraduate degree.

You can apply to be considered if you:

  • Are fully self-funding
  • Have UK or EU nationality
  • Have applied to, and been offered a place on, the campus based postgraduate degree of your choice
  • Have achieved, or are predicted to achieve, a 2:1 from your undergraduate degree. (If you are awarded a scholarship but then do not achieve a 2:1 you will no longer be eligible for the scholarship award)
  • You are only eligible to apply for a scholarship before you have started the course. Applications are not accepted once you have started studying on the course.

For general postgraduate programmes, the scholarship will be in the form of 40% discount off any tuition fee for taught master’s programmes but cannot be taken in conjunction with any other discount or bursary offered by the University with the exception of the 2% early payment discount which is applied to the net value of the fee.

For the MBA (Strategic Leadership) degree, we are offering a scholarship of up to 20% of the tuition fees.

If you are eligible for the alumni discount of 20%, this will be included as part of the overall discount applied. The early payment discount is available to self-funding students who pay their tuition fee in full in advance of the beginning of the academic year. Successful scholarship applicants will be required to accept their place on the programme within four weeks of notification in order to obtain the reduction in the fee. For those programmes which offer a January or May intake, candidates will need to apply to be considered for a scholarship by the end of the preceding May.

The deadline for all scholarship applications is the end of June each year.

The Government is offering a loan for postgraduate Master's study of up to £10,000 which can be used towards tuition fees, living expenditures and other course costs (conditions apply).
