NEW: PhD studentships available

The Centre for Architecture, Art and Design represents the research of the Schools of Architecture, Art and Design. It encourages membership across both Schools from staff and research students.

CAAD wants to support initiatives and developments in research across both Schools, to encourage new researchers and create an inclusive research environment that builds on the interests and expertise within the staff body. In particular we are interested that the research outputs reflect the breadth of taught courses across our Schools . There are strong common interests in terms of professional practice , design culture, visual representation, practice based research,  and shared teaching methodologies across many courses in our Schools.

We are developing a new programme of events and invite staff from either School or across the Faculty to participate.
