'Towards a New Cultural History of Czernovitz. The Jewish Press 1918-40'
Sara Hall holds a BA in Central and Eastern European History and Jewish Studies from University College London, and an MA in Understanding and Securing Human Rights from the Institute of Commonwealth Studies at the University of London. In addition, Sara read Jewish and Russian History at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and at the Russian State University for the Humanities in Moscow. She has researched the building of Soviet identity in the Soviet Press in the 1920's as well as freedom of expression and the contemporary non-state press in Belarus. In 2003 Sara was awarded the Hester Rothschild scholarship.
