Fighting against hate crime and religious extremism: Workshop and Blackwell book launch

Starting with the practical experience of key professionals, this workshop will address two related issues: (1) How to fight hate crime, motivated by religious reasons? (2) How to fight religious extremism? Particular attention will be given to anti-Semitism and Islamophobia. Methods and policies to tackle religious radicalisation will also be addressed, with specific references to Portsmouth. The workshop will take place in Park Building room 3.03 from 2 - 4 pm.
