Profile

I am primarily interested in all issues related to English as a transnational and deanglicized language. I am also interested in the applicability of Systemic Functional Linguistics and of Multimodality for (critical) textual analysis. Before coming to Portsmouth I taught at Assumption University in Bangkok and, while a PhD student, at the University of Nottingham.
