Anna Syngellakis was appointed in 1990 under the Jean Monnet Initiative of the European Commission to promote teaching on European Integration.
Her teaching interests are therefore focused on the evolution, institutions, policies and law of the European Union. She also offers a final year optional unit on Protecting the Environment in Europe. She has been involved in the administration of the European Studies degree since its inception as admissions tutor, course leader and co-ordinator.
Her research interests are in international and European Community environmental law and policy.
