Profile

I have worked at the University of Portsmouth since 2004. My areas of research interest lie mainly in Far East and in particular, in contemporary higher education of China. My PhD research focuses on issues of transnational higher education in China and the internationalisation of Chinese universities. Due to my background in languages and business administration, my research interest is also in cross-cultural studies between the east and the west, particularly between UK and China.
