Profile
I will be researching 1970’s British experimental film as part of a 1970s British Cinema project. I come from a Fine Art background where my practice took an inter- disciplinary approach, but focused mainly on experimental filmmaking. Working as a practitioner enables a certain amount of light to be shed on the processes and context of experimental filmmaking.
Other academic interests include post-colonialism, issues concerned with contemporary art and notions of identity and it’s social & cultural construction in the individual.
