Bringing together Dr James McDougall from the University of Oxford and Dr Tamsin Bradley from the University of Portsmouth, this workshop will analyse modern Algerian nationalism in a comparative context, exploring how the origins and ideologies of Algerian nationalism were similar or different to the case of the emergence of modern Indian nationalism under the British Empire.
