Postgraduate Taught Course in Marine Resource Economics

CEMARE offers a taught postgraduate course in the area of the economics and management of marine resources, fisheries and aquaculture, providing students with the opportunity to access the teaching expertise and specialist resources developed over many years by members of the Centre.

The course offers students the chance to gain an understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of marine resource economics and management, and also to learn of developments at the forefront of research.

The course is designed for people from a variety of academic backgrounds (including economics, environmental and fisheries science and biology) who now wish to extend their professional expertise into the area of marine resource economics and for practitioners in the field who wish to formalise and consolidate their knowledge.

The course commences in October of each year and is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.
