  • First World Congress of Environmental Economists This World Congress was organised by the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists and by the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists in cooperation with the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei. It took place in Venice (Italy), at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini from June 25 to June 27 1998.

The NSGL is unique in that it houses the only complete collection of Sea Grant funded work which now includes 72,000 documents.
