CiTech has a thriving postgraduate research community, supported by experienced supervisory teams and excellent facilities. Many staff in CiTech have extensive industry experience, and the Centre is well-equipped with a wide range of technology including:
- a Virtual Reality Centre (a semi-CAVE stereoscopic (3D) interactive environment, with motion capture and a range of haptic (touch) feedback devices)
- an Optical Motion Capture studio
- extensive video & broadcast equipment
- sound studios
- extensive multimedia laboratories equipped with the most recent industry-standard animation, games, sound and video software and console development kits.
