A new book, Drug Design Strategies: Computational Techniques and Applications, edited by Lee Banting and Tim Clark, has been published by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
The book documents the latest research into the theory and application of force-fields, semi-empirical molecular orbital, density functional and ab initio calculations, Quantum Mechanical (QM) based modelling, Atoms in Molecules (AIM) approach, and biomolecular dynamics.
Three chapters are contributed by members of CMD:
- Chapter 4: QM Based Modelling, by Tim Clark
- Chapter 8: Analysing Molecular Surface Properties, by David Whitley
- Chapter 9: Atomistic Modelling of Drug Delivery Systems, by Paul Cox
