Equipment
We have successfully bid more than one million pounds capital investment in research and development equipment dedicated to polymer, composites and nanocomposites. We are interested in forging collaborative relationships, providing services and consultancy as well as transferring technological knowledge with academia, governmental organisations and industries in the area of polymer materials, polymeric composites and nanocomposites locally, nationally and internationally. Our research interests and capabilities are further complemented by our internationally recognised Mechanical Behaviour of Materials Research Group in the area of fatigue, fracture mechanics, life prediction and failure analysis and Excellence Centre of rapid prototyping and manufacturing in the Department of Mechanical and Design Engineering at University of Portsmouth.
