The Other Dickens: Victorian and Neo-Victorian Contexts

Two hundred years after Dickens's birth in the city, Portsmouth's Centre for Studies in Literature will host this interdisciplinary conference considering the relatively unexplored aspects of his life and work.  Speakers will re-examine a broad range of themes in contemporary and Victorian contexts.
