Mark Frost. Lecturer in English Literature, has been awarded a £6325 Small Research Award to support his work on John Ruskin. Provided by the British Academy, this funding will support further research in the UK and USA to inform his forthcoming monograph, 'My Dear Graham': The Lost Companion and John Ruskin's Guild of St. George (Anthem Press, 2012). Frost's research explores Ruskin's writing in light of its contemporary scientific, religious and literary thought, and he has also contributed to the Leverhulme-funded Ruskin Programme at Lancaster University.
