Map Samplers

These samples of our work have a number of goals:

• Show the level of detail contained in the GIS: some maps cover the entire country, others smaller areas
• Demonstrate a variety of methods for publishing maps over the World Wide Web
• Introduce some of the substantive themes we are exploring within the Historical GIS programme
