Reseach Facilities

The laboratory contains equipment for fatigue and fracture research for aerospace applications and biomechanics research for orthopeadic related work.

Unique facilities include two Major-Minor servo-hydraulic testing machines that simulate flight cycles; and a hip simulator for fatigue testing of fixation in hip and knee replacements.
