Our expert in this area
Dr. Paul Trott is a Reader in Innovation Management at University of Portsmouth and Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Delft University in Holland. His book 'Innovation Management and New Product Development' published by Prentice Hall is in its 4th edition. He has supervised two major and successful applied research projects. One was in a manufacturing company, Iracroft, who sought to diversify their dependence on one major customer. The other was in a service company, Clouds Environmental, seeking help to launch a new service.
Our track record of success
Iracroft needed more consistent welding methods in order to capture new markets. The Business School worked in collaboration with the Technology Faculty to pilot test and roll out new technology.
