Our expert in this area

Nick Capon is Director of the Centre for Enterprise Research and Innovation (CERI), the applied research centre at Portsmouth Business School. He has a background in purchasing and contract management before joining the University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS). He has course managed the University's MSc in Contract Management. Recent applied research in this area has included a survey with staff at Portsmouth City Council on appropriate measures of contractor performance, with subsequent recommendation of good practice appropriate to their context.

Our track record of success

Research conducted with VT Group Ltd by one of our mature postgraduate students. Evaluation of the performance of past partnerships and global literature good practice review led to a new partnership selection being proposed for VT Group Ltd. in their work for the public sector.
