Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

Our expertise is in the strategy that will optinise investment in maintenance of a variety of different assets.

The way in which we might help you:

Provide an apprenticeship for a qualified engineering or business postgraduate student who would champion the reduction in overhead spend on maintenance and increase the availability of key assets for productive use for customers.

For example he/she would collect data on the downtime and repair spend on all your assets. Software will analyse the results to group your assets into different classes and advise you of the optimum maintenance strategy for each. Results will be shared for discussion with your engineers to decide the most appropriate way to implement the findings in your company.

For measurement of going benefits, he/she would advise on different data capture methods that will not only measure the benefit but will also continually update the strategy for optimum ongoing performance.

Benefit:

Financial savings on overheads for maintenance.

Cost:

50% of the full cost of employment, plus 50% of the cost of four hours per week supervision by a relevant asset management expert. Balance funded by UK government.
