Profile

Alistair is responsible for implementing the University’s Knowledge Services Strategy and growing external income through raising the profile and number of the University’s external commercial activities.

Alistair previously worked for Imperial Consultants at Imperial College London as well as two of the UK’s research councils and Sheffield Hallam University. He has been responsible for managing research funding portfolios, developing research and knowledge transfer strategies, creating a portfolio of staff development courses and managing a research office. Alistair worked for the Science and Technology Facilities Council as the project manager responsible for developing and delivering their innovation campus and science parks.
