Biography

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University in 2015 and continued onto the MSc from 2015-2016. My MSc project was the initial pilot study for a larger Solent wide Native Oyster (Ostrea edulis) restoration attempt. My PhD continues that work and has been match funded by the University of Portsmouth and the Blue Marine Foundation. We also work with Europe’s largest marina company - MDL Marinas, who, alongside Land Rover Ben Ainslie Racing, house cages of mature broodstock oyster populations as part of my research.
