I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Creative Technologies at the University of Portsmouth. I previously held an appointment with University of Glasgow. I have won the Best PhD Thesis Prize for my PhD study, EPSRC DHPA Awards and Vice Chancellor Travel Prize etc. I have participated in research projects supported by EPSRC, EU FP7, ESRC, UoP internal fund resources among others.

  • Advanced Graphics Techniques (Level 6, Unit Coordinator)


My research interests include vision, computer graphics and application of machine learning to these areas. Particularly, I research in image/video processing and recognition, facial expression, human action and affective analysis (multidimensional) and geometric processing of human/facial performances.
