Aim:

This short course is specifically designed for allied health professionals and associated agencies who come into contact with children as a matter of course of their work.

Developed by University of Portsmouth in conjunction with external partners, it aims to provide an understanding of legislation, types of child abuse and guidance regarding allied healthcare professionals responsibilities for identifying and escalating concerns, police investigation and preservation of forensic evidence.
