Biography

I trained as a Therapeutic Radiographer at the University of Portsmouth, and gained experience in Portsmouth, Southampton and Poole hospitals. I have worked in a number of hospitals since starting my clinical career, including Brighton, Torquay and Portsmouth. During my time at Portsmouth hospital I progressed from a Senior Radiographer to an Imaging Specialist Advanced Practitioner, with responsibility for developing policy and practice.

I joined the University of Portsmouth as a lecturer in 2011, becoming Senior Lecturer in 2013. During this period, I gained my Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education through the University of Portsmouth and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

In September 2013, I commenced study towards my MSc Oncology to support my academic teaching and research interests.
