Managing your business online: How can digital marketing help your firm?

In a world of rapid digital changes, digital marketing and its associated channels are increasingly important for all types and sizes of businesses. Nowadays, consumers are becoming increasingly in control. Digital media is so pervasive that consumers have access to information any time and any place they want it. Therefore, managing complex customer relationships across a variety of channels is one of the keys to digital marketing success.

Dr Stacey Li is a senior lecturer in Marketing & Sales at the University of Portsmouth, teaching in digital marketing. Her research interests include social media marketing, social capital in brand communities, and consumer-based brand knowledge in online communities.

Peter Garnet Cox has extensive experience as a solicitor and educator. After qualifying as a solicitor in 1975 he held an equity partnership at Bruttons and Co from 1980 until 2000 where he was senior partner from 1996 to 2000. He is currently a consultant with Bells, a Family law mediator and an academic lecturer and tutor. Peter will introduce today’s session.

In the workshop, Stacey will cover

  • Why digital marketing is important for small & medium businesses?
  • How to manage customer relationships across a variety of channels?
  • Challenges facing business owners.

This practical, workshop-based seminar will give you the opportunity to discuss how digital marketing can help in the development of your firm. It is worth 2 CPD points until the new approach commences.

There is a charge of £75 to cover expenses.
