Engineering Curriculum Group

Welcome to the web home of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Lifelong Learning Network (HI-LLN) Engineering Curriculum Group (ECG).

The main role of the ECG is to help vocational learners to progress to and through higher education in the broad fields of Civil, Electrical and Electronic and Mechanical Engineering.

We aim to do this in several ways:

  • We and our partners are creating progression agreements between further and higher education providers.
  • We are working with our partner College and Universities to review the need for curriculum development of engineering courses offered.
  • We are assessing the evidence of existing progression, achievement and support of non traditional learners.
