New registered students
The Foundation Degree in Government is delivered entirely online through Victory, the University's Virtual Learning Environment. To give you early access to the some of the learning material we have put together this preview website. It contains the content for the following unit:-
The degree uses online resources such as academic journals, videos, podcasts and e-books. The content on this preview website is copied directly from Virtual Learning Environment and the text has not been changed at all. This means that there are a few parts of the text (e.g. assessments, your own ePortfolio, exercises and discussion areas where you can talk to other students and tutors) that will only be relevant and available when you start the course. Also, we make extensive use of online library resources, which you will have access to once you have started your course and you have your full username and password.
Induction events
Induction programme events take place at the University of Portsmouth. You or your employer will need to cover your own travel expenses.
Year 2 students will also benefit from a refresher event - which aims to support and develop learning. This one and half day event will take place at the University of Portsmouth.
