GISRUK 2011
Call for Papers
The call for papers is now open and will close on January 7th 2011. This year the GISRUK conference will publish an eBook for all papers accepted for the conference. Submissions will therefore be in the form of a short paper together with a short abstract which will then be included in a hard copy of the conference programme. In addition we will work toward publishing a number of papers in peer reviewed journals. This page will be updated with news on this activity.
The closing date for submissions is 7th January 2011.
Please note that the guidelines for submission of papers HAVE CHANGED from previous years so please read the following instructions carefully.
Template for short papers
The template for short papers, with the required formatting and additional submission information is available in .doc or .pdf formats from the following links:
Short papers should be submitted in files compatible with .pdf (without restrictions) or Microsoft Word .doc formats only (not .docx, .rtf or .odf). The word limit is 2000 words, excluding biographical details and data in tables together with a short 100 word abstract that provides a summary of the paper to be included in the conference programme.
Uploading to EasyChair
In order to submit a paper, you will have to set up an account on EasyChair.
A copy of your short abstract should be copied into the ‘Abstract’ box together with the other details (title, authors, keywords etc) as required. Upload your short paper having ensured that it conforms to the template guidelines.
Notification of success or otherwise will be made available during February 2011.
