Changes in Learning and Teaching in our faculty
The role of Learning and Teaching Coordinator has been re-structured, so there will be one coordinator in each school. These coordinators are:
- SSHLS - Theresa Callan
- SECS - Joy Chalke
- SLAS - Tricia Coverdale-Jones / Janet Bryant
- ICJS - Jacki Tapley
Our most recent event was the Faculty Learning and Teaching Conference 2011, on the theme "Re-thinking Learning, Teaching and Assessment". The keynote speaker was Julie Hall, co-Chair of the Staff and Educational Development Association. Last year’s conference, "Designing Learning in the 21st Century," was also well attended and gained a lot of positive feedback and interest in the ideas generated.
