As a University employee you are automatically a member of either the Academic Staff Association (ASA) or the Support Staff Association (SSA). Both associations promote a spirit of unity and communication, represent the views and champion the wellbeing of all staff, and facilitate two-way communication between staff and the University's management structure, including the Board of Governors and Directorate.
