The Academic Staff Association (ASA) aims to promote and foster a spirit of unity and cooperation among the academic staff of the University. It provides a means by which the academic staff may express its opinions and wishes to the Vice-Chancellor.
The Association communicates on behalf of academic staff with the Vice-Chancellor and with any organisation on ASA matters through the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee consists of officers of the ASA and an academic staff representative from each department.
The ASA is always looking for new staff members to help participate in the association. Any academic staff member is welcome to contact the Chair, Dr Martyn Gardiner on ext. 5396 or email@example.com for an informal discussion.
