Responsibilities
Internal Communications is responsible for:
- management of all broadcast communication through central channels
- serious incident communication, where instructed
- maintenance of this Policy and advice on its implementation
Academic departments are responsible for:
- learning and teaching communication with their students
- operational communication related to students’ working environment and the administration of their course
- serious incident communication, where instructed by IC or Directorate
- ensuring all staff adhere to this Policy
Student support services are responsible for:
- communicating with large groups of students through IC
- communicating on an individual basis with students who are engaged with their service
- serious incident communication, where instructed by IC or Directorate
- ensuring all staff adhere to this Policy
Students are responsible for:
- ensuring they check primary channels of communication regularly and respond in a timely manner where necessary
- informing their academic department if messages or information is not reaching them in an appropriate or satisfactory manner
- informing their academic department of any changes to personal details
