Areas of provision:

Staff Development and Appraisal Schemes have been replaced this academic year by Performance and Development Review (PDR).  This new approach features:

  • One simple process for all staff groups
  • More concise and flexible paperwork
  • An explicit link between individual objectives and development needs
  • One record of discussion that both Reviewer and Reviewee contribute to
  • Regular review meetings
  • Support from Human Resources for departments in collating outcomes

All members of Staff responsible for conducting Performance and Development Reviews will be invited to a training session, please see below dates.
Support for Reviewees is in the form of departmental briefings, provided by a member of Human Resources.
