University of Portsmouth Support Staff Conference
Fit for the Future: Creative ways of working in changing economic times
Tuesday 6 September 2011, Richmond Building
- What lies ahead and how can we prepare for it?
- Who are our students and how are they changing?
- What do we do and how could we do it better?
With many changes happening both within the University and in the wider community, these are just some of the questions that the Support Staff Conference 2011 addressed.
The conference was hosted by Sally Hartley, Clerk to Board of Governors, and included keynote addresses from Deputy Vice-Chancellor Rebecca Bunting and Martin James, representing the University Board of Governors.
In addition there were a series of 'snapshot' overviews from a number of University representatives, and parallel sessions providing opportunities to gain information and support, network with colleagues from other areas of the University, and the chance to appreciate examples of good practice already in place.
