Outline

A document may go through many versions before a final version is complete or be worked on by multiple people. Track changes is a function in Microsoft Word which tracks any edits made to a document e.g. deletion/addition of text, and so on, and displays it for revision. Edits are clearly displayed and labelled and can be accepted or rejected to create the final version of the document.

Aims of the session

You will work on documents and learn how markup is displayed, how to finalise a document with markup and understand how you would work with multiple reviewers on a document.

Learning outcomes

You will feel confident and able to use Track Changes when creating and revising your documents in the future. You will also be able to work on a document with multiple reviewers.

Other dates
