DCQE presents an interactive workshop for staff new to teaching and/or supporting learning. This workshop will also be suitable for postgraduates who teach.

This workshop will provide an introduction to a range of theories and models relating to student learning, e.g. experiential learning, ripples on a pond, learning style preferences, motivation and self-efficacy. Through group discussion and activities, participants will explore ways of adapting their teaching in response to these ideas in order to enhance the student learning experience.
