A lecture with Dr Gwen Adshead, forensic psychiatrist and psychotherapist, Broadmoor Hospital

Dr Gwen Adshead is a forensic psychiatrist and psychotherapist who has worked for the last 10 years at Broadmoor Hospital. She has a research interest in moral reasoning and how this links with 'bad' behaviour. She has published widely on forensic psychotherapy, ethics in psychiatry, and attachment theory as a contribution to comprehending 'evil' behaviour.  

The morning is relevant to all those who work with and want to understand troubled behaviours and where they might lead, whether in criminal justice, health and social care or educational settings, or counselling/psychotherapy services.

The lecture is supported by the University of Portsmouth Counselling Service, the Solent Group for Psychotherapists and Counsellors and PCSR.
