The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) paints the 'big picture' of local needs to improve the health and wellbeing of people in Portsmouth. The JSNA provides local data and information on a variety of health and social issues, including aspects related to our ageing population. It's a fantastic resource which can be broken down and mapped by different geographical areas.

Joanna Kerr, (Head of Public Health Intelligence at Portsmouth City Council) is coming to talk about the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) health resources and information. (These are on the council website at: www.portsmouth.gov.uk/living/19059.html). 

This talk provides us with the opportunity to strengthen our links with the local authority and may offer the chance for further engagement for teaching and research purposes.
