On the first floor of the Student Centre, the new 3rd Space for students has room for working, eating and relaxing.

The 3rd Space is a relaxed and social, alcohol-free environment offering an alternative to the learning zones in the University Library and the social spaces of the bars and clubs.

Similar to the University Library, the space is open from 8am to midnight every day during term time. There is access to the wireless network and areas for group and individual socialising, eating and working.
