Let's take an easy step to help the University reduce carbon emissions:

• Turn off computers, TVs, videos, projectors and other equipment instead of switching them to standby. In Britain we waste the equivalent of around two power stations' worth of electricity each year by leaving TVs and other gadgets on standby.
• Why not turn gadgets off at the plug instead?
