Dr Jones is a Lecturer in the Business School based at the RAF College, Cranwell and specialises in naval history and British defence policy. Current research interests include maritime air power, naval logistics during the Second World War and defence policy East of Suez in the post-war period. Dr Jones worked at the Air Power Studies Division, King’s College London, between 2006-2012 and previously taught at the Department of War Studies, King’s College London. He has been a Councillor of the Navy Records Society since 2011 and the General Editor since 2013.
