Hall fees for 2013–14 academic year

The rent includes:

  • Free broadband service
  • Free internal telephone calls, sometimes free external calls using VoIP technology
  • Access to 25 TV channels (TV licence required)
  • All utility bills and basic insurance cover
  • Access to a dedicated halls community support team

Rents are displayed by weekly and session amounts; session fees are for 37-weeks, the entire academic year and include Christmas and Easter vacations. Prices have been rounded to the nearest £ for clarity and subject to confirmation.

All eligible full-time undergraduate students from England starting their course at the University of Portsmouth in 2013, who’s assessed family incomes are £25,000 or less will qualify for a £2000 discount which can be taken off their tuition or accommodation fees.  The accommodation discount is for University halls of residence only and is subject to availability.
