Landlord Registration Scheme

Student Housing at the University of Portsmouth are continually monitoring the standard of property advertised with ourselves. A landlord wishing to advertise their property(s) on PortsmouthStudentPad to the approximately 20,000 students at the University of Portsmouth need to first register them with Student Housing.

All properties registered with Student Housing must meet our set criteria for safety, facilities, location and decorative order. For further details, please click on the following PDF file below:

Any landlord who wishes to register their property(s) with Student Housing must agree to and abide by Student Housing’s Code of Practice as outlined in the above document.

Please note that the letting arrangement for private houses and flats is between the landlord and the tenant. Our house hunting advice booklet will give you all the details of what to look for and what to avoid when entering into such an agreement.
