Each month we feature our favourite student photo, submitted for the YourUP competition. Take a look at this month's favourite to the right.
Snap it: If you're a current University of Portsmouth student and you'd like to be in with a chance of one of your photos being student photo of the month (and winning a £20 voucher!), it's simple. Just capture and share memorable moments of campus and student life. Your photos could be of anything that’s inspired, informed or entertained you (keep it clean please).
Share it: To post your photos, all you have to do is follow the instructions below.

Via Flickr
- Create a free Flickr account (www.flickr.com).
- Add your photos to your account, tagging them YourUP and adding a short description.
- Join the YourUP Flickr group.
- Click on the photo (in your Flickr account) that you want to add to the YourUP Flickr group, and you'll see a number of options.
- Click on the 'send to group' option, and a drop-down of your groups will appear. Click on YourUP, and you’re done!
Via other sharing sites
If you’d like to use an alternative sharing site to Flickr, that's fine. Simply tag your photos YourUP and we’ll be able to see them.
Rules and guidelines
- Images must be taken by you.
- Check with anyone featured in your photos that they are happy to have their photo taken and used in this way.
- In submitting your photo/s you agree to grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish and otherwise use the material in any way that we want, and in any media.
- It's important to note, however, that you still own the copyright to your photo/s.
