Doing IT for you

Throughout your time here, you'll want to be sure that you have the best computing facilities and resources to support you in your studies. Here at Portsmouth we pride ourselves on providing excellent services and facilities for all our students.

The University's five faculties all have extensive computing facilities, with a large number of high spec PCs (multimedia and CAD) as well as Apple MACs, all running the latest software for specialist and general computing.

IT centres and services

Many of the computing facilities are available to all students and are generally open between 8.30am and 8.30pm. Along with the commonly needed facilities, we provide large format printing, audio-visual equipment, language laboratories, satellite image and geophysical processing. We have specialist technicians able to provide support and maintain the facilities.
