Music

Music at Portsmouth includes a Symphony Orchestra, the Choir, the very popular Big Band and the Dramatic and Musical Society. We have two large rehearsal rooms and a number of small practice rooms, all with pianos.

The department has a small stock of instruments that are available for loan, and can help arrange tuition. The beautiful New Theatre Royal is in the University Quarter and is often used for performances.
