Research project: Appropriate Realism and Believability of Animated Heads
Researcher: Si Qiao
Time requirement: 30 minutes
Researchers in the School of Creative Technologies are currently looking for volunteers for a study investigating the believability of different facial behaviour for animated heads.
The study involves watching and rating the believability and realism of a selection of 3D animated heads. Each clip last around 25 seconds.
Volunteers should not have any medical condition such as epilepsy that could prevent them from watching animation on a computer screen.
All participants will be entered into the Creative Technologies annual raffle. You could win either an iPhone, Xbox or Wii.
Refreshments will be available.
