Leading Change 2012

Leading Change is a development programme which seeks to enable successful applicants to contribute to the continued success of the University while also providing them with a tailored personal development opportunity. January 2011 saw the first cohort of participants embark on the Leading Change programme which came to a close in July 2011.

The programme has been evaluated by an external assessor who consulted widely with applicants, participants, line managers and other senior staff. Feedback has been extremely positive from all those involved and many suggestions for improvements have since been incorporated in the programme.

The University is now seeking applications from staff for the next cohort of Leading Change starting in January 2012. Those selected for the programme will have demonstrated potential in their application form, together with a strong motivation to play a part in the University’s future. Over a period of approximately seven months, participants will attend a series of learning events with coaching/mentoring support.

Participants will also be asked to identify a work-based change project as an integral feature of participation.
